Interesting specimen with balls and crusts formed of adjacent balls of micro light orange siderite crystals, preferentially coating clear to white rhombohedral calcite crystals, with a second generation of calcite growth as scalenohedrons. Found within a large septarian nodule in the Cretaceous Mancos shale. Reference #SM260.
