Large chunk of high-grade gold ore with tiny blebs of bright butter-yellow, highly reflective gold in white quartz, just below thick layer of black sphalerite. Other bands in the piece have bits of less-reflective greenish gold chalcopyrite, as well as finer grained sphalerite, and more scattered blebs of native gold in the white vein quartz. Specimen is cut on one face. Reference #537.
